Natalie is the ilab Accelerator Manager with UQ’s Ventures team. Natalie is responsible for the delivery of the ilab Accelerator program, which is UQ Ventures’ signature startup development program. It is a six-month program that includes a $20,000 equity-free grant for each team, structured mentoring with our Entrepreneurs in Residence, partner deals, desk space, and access to our investor networks. The program is available to startups from all disciplines – from robotics to social enterprise.

Natalie spent five years running Innovation Programs for Brisbane city, on behalf of the Lord Mayor's office. That time was spent embedded in the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem, identifying and nurturing some of the brightest ideas along their startup journey. Having had a taste of this exciting and challenging world, Natalie has spent the last three years working alongside female tech founder Leanne Kemp, absorbing the day-to-day life at the fast moving, global scale up, Everledger. Natalie's experience has afforded her the opportunity to be actively involved in two major capital raises, exposure to constantly iterating product, managing events and marketing teams and more recently, running operations across six global territories and 80 staff. Natalie values creativity, a growth mindset, and sustainable practises.
