Accelerating Athletes towards 2032 and beyond.

As we approach the Games, businesses, industries, and communities across the state are preparing for a once-in- a generation opportunity. The vision of 'Accelerating Athletes towards 2032' is to support the next generation of athletes to succeed and thrive alongside businesses, before and after the games through an intensive one-day program and mentoring support.

During the one-day program, you will network and learn from athletes and subject matter experts leading in their fields and develop the skills needed to strengthen your financial literacy and entrepreneurial mindset as an athlete.

Natalie Cook OAM OLY
Natalie is most well known for her 5 Olympic appearances as a Beach Volleyballer. However having lived the rollercoaster ride of financial pressures in order to fund Olympic campaigns she is a passionate advocate for the next generation of athletes to thrive.

Forge a comprehensive pathway to grow and position yourself for enduring success

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, athletes must:

  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Currently enrolled at one of the Queensland universities
  • Minimum T4 ranking in accordance with the AIS (Australian Institute of Sport) Foundations, Talent, Elite, and Mastery (FTEM) Framework
  • Minimum age of 18 at the date of application

The program may decline to accept any application from an individual athlete which, in its reasonable opinion, does not meet the above eligibility criteria.
