Ventures Momentum Accelerator welcomes new Entrepreneur in Residence

Ventures are excited to announce their second Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) joining the Momentum Accelerator team, Annika Launay.

Annia LaunayAnnika is the Director and Co-founder of PDPR and CEO at Franc.World and has successfully led 3 enterprises from startup to established business, including PDPR, a national marketing agency, and Franc.World, Australia’s largest multimedia platform dedicated to showcasing future career paths to tweens and teens.

Annika is passionate about empowering others, especially women in business, and is committed to giving back to the next generation.

Annika joins the program as applications to the latest round of the Momentum Accelerator open, which focuses on female founders for the next cohort.

This unique opportunity, funded by the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC)-managed Queensland Venture Capital Development Fund (QVCDF), is designed to help startups grow their business and prepare for fundraising, offering participants the chance to pitch to established VCs and investors if investment aligns with their goals.

The Accelerator for female founders will run for 15 weeks from September to the middle of December 2024 at the Ventures Studio located at Long Pocket campus.

Head of Entrepreneurship, Mr Nimrod Klayman said he is excited to see the next cohort of innovators.
