UQ Idea Hub Startup LeadHers

The UQ Idea Hub Startup LeadHers pilot program seeks to empower UQ women to be future change-makers and leaders in innovation. Over the five-week session, staff, students and alumni in the program will gain an entrepreneurial mindset and cover topics from ideation, design thinking and business modelling to raising capital and pitching a startup idea. 

This is your opportunity to connect with and learn from female leaders in business, network with like-minded women at UQ and be inspired. You will practice entrepreneurial skills-sets and be supported by female local mentors as they share their startup journeys.

As part of the program, you will also gain access to our members-only co-working space, where you can work on your startup idea and collaborate with other budding entrepreneurs.

UQ students who complete the program will be eligible to apply for the #UQStartupAdventure – our four-week international internships in global startup hotspots from Shanghai to Tel Aviv, supported by a full scholarship.
