ilab UQ Germinate Accelerator - applications now open!

Applications are now open for the ilab UQ Germinate 12 startup accelerator program. 

What does the program involve?

A total of 10 teams are selected (each with at least two founders directly linked to UQ - current students, staff, researchers or recent alumni having graduated within the past four years), each being granted $10,000 (conditions apply), no equity taken. ilab help (and push) each team to develop, grow and accelerate their business. 

An entrepreneur in residence leads the program and is there to assist teams for the duration of the program, complemented by weekly sessions with various speakers and mentors from the entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

How to apply

Applications for the ilab UQ Germinate 12 accelerator program are now open and will close on Friday, 25 May. A selection bootcamp will be held from June 1-3 with the program then starting after the exams, on Friday 25 June.

UQ ilab run this startup accelerator program, twice a year, for three months. These sessions take place during the winter and summer school holidays. Everyone is welcome to apply. Entrepreneurship applies to every Faculty and every industry.
