Startup World Cup: Australia Regional Competition
The University of Queensland (UQ) will be hosting the Australian regional competition for the Startup World Cup.
Pitch your startup, in under 4 minutes, for the Startup World Cup: Australia Regional Competiton for a chance to travel to the Grand Finale in San Francisco. The 2023 Grand Finale Winner will recieve a USD $1 million investment prize.

Application
To enter the competiton please complete the online application form and submit the following:
- A video pitch no longer than 3 minutes on YouTube, provide the link in your application
- A 40 word or less response including your startup name, industry, and brief pitch
Eligibility
To be eligible to enter this competition, you must:
- be over the age of 18 years old
- have a valid Australian passport
- have a team consisting of 1-4 members

Program
Participants will need to commit two weeks to the competition from the Australia Regional Competition to the Grand Finale.

| 15 Nov | Australia Regional Competition | Pitch your startup at the Australia Regional Competition and watch as startups pitch their business st UQ's St Lucia campus. Grab your ticket below to attend the competition. |
| 29 Nov | Semi-final in San Francisco | The winner of the Australia Regional Competition will be sent to San Francisco to take part in the semi-finals. |
| 30 Nov | Workshops in San Francisco | Semi-finalists will attend a series of workshops in the lead up to the Grand Finale. |
| 1 Dec | Grand Finale and networking party | The Grand Finale will take place at the Hilton Hotel in San Francisco, the winner will recieve a USD $1 Million investment prize. |
