It’s not every day a founder takes the time to walk a group through their office, right? This is your chance to meet a cutting-edge Brisbane-based technology startup specialising in autonomous drone technology, LiDAR mapping, and data analytics.

What to expect:

Meet the founder of Emesent and the brilliant team behind Hovermap—a lightweight, plug-and-play LiDAR scanner that can be attached to drones, ground robots, vehicles, or even used handheld or in a backpack. Hovermap uses advanced SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms to generate accurate 3D point clouds in real time, even in GPS-denied environments such as underground mines, dense forests, or indoor facilities.
