Sally runs the Ventures LeadHers program, a career confidence and leadership program for women at the university who are students, staff and alumni. LeadHers offers 5-week programs as well as PhD and staff days where participants engage in workshop sessions, hear from guest speakers, and have the opportunity to build their peer and industry networks.

Prior to this, Sally lead gen[in], Queensland's first ever internationally focused student innovation challenge, in partnership with Trade and Investment Queensland. The gen[in] project enabled students to form diverse teams to innovate and develop business ideas, while creating lifelong connections with fellow students, mentors and industry partners in the Queensland ecosystem. 

Sally has a broad range of experience, working in the UK, US, Hong Kong, and Australia across a multitude of industries including media, finance and education. She is passionate about using this experience to help guide and support women in creating confidence for their careers and buinesses, building their leadership capabilities and developing strong professional networks to help with future success.

Sally is also the founder of Be Social. Be Smart., a social media education initiative for schools, universities and workplaces.
