Travellers can now get easy access to surf, bike and snow gear with the launch of the global adventure gear rental marketplace, Quipmo.
The idea of making access to quality gear more efficient, affordable and readily available was the mastermind of UQ Business School MBA alumnus and UQ Future Leader Award recipient Chris Evans. The peer to peer marketplace was first launched in February 2017.
Quipmo is now part of The University of Queensland’s 2019 HYPE UQ SPIN Accelerator, helping startups become major players in global sportstech innovation.
