Do you have a burning desire to change the world by solving a pressing social or environmental problem? Are you looking to create sustainable solutions that can impact and transform our world and the communities in which we are a part of?
Impact is a new option for students participating in the Validate program. By signing up for Impact, you will not only gain key entrepreneurial skills from the Validate program, but you will also have access to specialised information to help solve pressing social or environmental problems.
Impact includes a bonus three workshops in addition to the Validate program.

Ventures Impact program is where you will understand your impact, develop key skills, build your toolkit with methods and frameworks to empower communities and connect with like-minded peers and industry leaders.

Ventures Impact is an intermediate program and is open to all UQ students, staff, and recent alumni at UQ. The program requires prior experience or knowledge regarding entrepreneurship and innovation.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
- be a current UQ student, staff member or young alumni (graduated in the last 10 years)
- commit to attending all sessions over ten weeks
- agree to our Terms and Conditions
- have completed the Ventures Curiosity program, or have relevant prior learning/experience
- have an idea for a ventures and be ready to validate it through a research process
- be committed to taking your idea to the next level
