Insights from a UQ student who spent four weeks at a two-month-old startup in Hanoi as part of Startup AdVentures.

In Hanoi, youth-led innovation can tackle social challenges like migration and inequality, demonstrating the power of entrepreneurship to create meaningful, community-driven change in Vietnam’s rapidly evolving economy.

I have never worked in a startup, let alone in another country. I also have no experience in marketing, and do not come from a business background. Nevertheless, after the month I spent in Hanoi, I believe that applying for the Startup AdVenture is one of the best decisions I have made to date.
